Congratulations to all Fargo Marathon 2022 Runners!

There’s a lot of time and training you put into preparing for a race. Have you thought about using IV nutrition to help you train more effectively and recover faster?

IV nutrition can be used both in preparation for a race and after a race to help you recover faster. Research shows those who are well-hydrated and nourished have better endurance and recover quicker from training and races.

By consuming vitamins and minerals intravenously (IV), we can boost absorption from 20-30% (approximately what is absorbed with oral supplements) to over 90%. The vitamins and minerals in the IV are placed directly into the bloodstream where they can be readily absorbed by your cells.

Following a race, IV nutrition rehydrates the body faster and provides vitamins/minerals to:

  • Restore your energy
  • Decrease muscles aches, soreness, cramping
  • Reduce Inflammation
  • Reduce oxidative stress on the body

Nutrients we commonly use:

  • B-Complex Vitamins: boost energy, support metabolism, and promote optimal cardiovascular function.
  • Vitamin C: promotes muscle growth, improves circulation, & enhances wound healing and cell repair.
  • Magnesium: enhances muscle function, promotes cardiovascular health, aids in the production of essential proteins, supports energy, and promotes better sleep.
  • Glutathione: The Master Antioxidant. It helps reduce oxidative stress from training or post-race to expedite recovery.
  • Amino Acids: The building blocks of protein. Responsible for cellular growth & repair, optimal organ function, muscle growth, and aids in producing energy.

WHAT TO EXPECT

You will first meet with our medical provider to establish if you are a candidate or not. Based on your health history and goals, the provider will recommend which of our IVs will best suit your needs. The IV is then administered using the same medical equipment you would expect to receive at a hospital but in a more relaxing setting.

Most treatments take about 45 minutes to complete.
