Emsella in Fargo

Every patient is different, so the number of treatments a patient needs of Emsella in Fargo depends on their specific issues and goals. Most patients have up to 6 sessions to achieve their goals, with a maintenance session every 6 to 12 months.

Many of our patients experience improved urinary incontinence control and/or reduced sexual dysfunction after their first Emsella treatment. A full treatment regimen usually includes 6 30-minute sessions, scheduled twice a week for 3 weeks.

Though every patient is unique, the majority achieve optimal results within 2 to 3 months after their final session.

During an Emsella session, most patients experience a tingling sensation, along with the slightly odd feeling of your pelvic muscles contracting seemingly “on their own.” Though possibly unusual, the sensations are in no way uncomfortable.

As for after your session(s), you may experience temporary and slight muscular pain and skin redness. A very few patients also experience temporary muscle spasms and possible temporary joint/tendon pain. Any discomfort after the treatment will be similar to what you would naturally feel after a strenuous workout.
